Biography of Kevin Slack, Illustration Artist and Special ConsultantForemost, a writer, Kevin has contributed to Toronto's Now Magazine, was a regular contributor to San Francisco's culture mag, XY Magazine, has been published in a number of poetry anthologies, and has an eBook, Omega, available online. Kevin is currently courting a publisher for his first full-length work of fiction, Eight Summers. Kevin is also an accomplished artist. A muralist and a portrait painter, Kevin has had many exhibitions. He has also illustrated a number of children's eBooks including Herman the Hermit Crab and Daysleeper. He is currently building a photography series to exhibit with friends and sculptors, Joseph Landry and Brian Gazeley of St. George Galleries. Kevin received his Bachelor of Education in 1995 from Althouse College and he has since taught as an ESL teacher in Korea, as a University professor in Ecuador, and as a Visual Arts and English teacher with the Toronto District School Board. After receiving his Digital Media Certification in 2002, Kevin Slack became the sole operator of KaSeD, a web and multimedia design company creating multimedia, corporate imaging, and web designs for clients such as Solomon International, the Chalkmaster, Visual Concepts, and Cuda Automation.
